Getting Organized

In preparation for this little project of mine (starting Monday!), I needed to do a little organizing. It’s usually my habit to scribble down recipes on whatever scraps of paper I can find, but luckily this time I have these adorable little notecards to record cleanse ideas (thank you, sweet Ryan!):

You can check out more of this lovely stuff here!

Armed with a template, I started with the recipes I jotted down during my last round of cleansing last year. Wait–where are they? Oh, that’s right, they’re in my storage unit. In Michigan. Crap. Onto scouring the internet…

There are a wealth of vegan/vegetarian food blogs out there, and these are some of my favorites. I go to these sites for recipes, a healthy food-porn-fix, or simply to get inspired. The folks who run these blogs just seem to live their lives in truly beautiful ways. Dig through and find some ideas for your own cleanse, or for your dinner tonight!

My New Roots
(the Martha Stewart of vegan blogistas)

Green Kitchen Stories
(written by an adorable swedish family, with a great design)

Tartelette
(usually vegetarian, always gluten-free, & the bar-none best photography)

101 Cookbooks
(the standard by which all other vegetarian blogs are judged)

Oh She Glows
(lots of inspiration, lots of cute personality shining through)

What are some of your favorites?

Hi–I’m a classmate of Ryan’s. I think I may be about as food-obsessed as yourself (though I’m vegan). The blogs you put up are great, I’d also recommend:

Gorgeous photography, usually fairly healthy, all vegan.

Vegan classic. Definitely not always healthy, but almost always delicious.

Some recipes are vegan, usually delicious, and quite aesthetically pleasing.

Anyhow, good luck on your cleanse. I’ve never tried one, but everyone I know who has tends to love it or hate it. I hope you end up in the former category.
