Pizza Party

It was my birthday on Monday. Yep, the big 2-9. It honestly felt a little anticlimactic in essence, because what good does it do you to be 29? I just want to be in my 30s already! I’m ready to be done with my 20s! I’m sure I’ll look back and wonder why I was trying to hustle time along….

Anyway, you better believe there was food involved in the celebration (some things never change). I celebrated by having not one but two dinner parties with my family, the first of which is documented here. The second night we made ravioli with a newly minted pasta maker that my aunt bought–such a fabulous device! I will be borrowing it for sure next year when I move back.

Perhaps seeing this, you will wonder what kind of pizzas we made? Here is the full list (I think). You’ll notice the pizzas get increasingly elaborate toward the end when we just piled as many toppings as would fit onto the remaining crusts. Stay tuned for an upcoming post about making your own pizza crust!
