Ross & Ryan’s Valentine’s Dinner

Sadly, I didn’t get a picture of the whole table, or the appetizer, or the wine, or….the people enjoying the food! Rest assured, however, that those things did exist and were lovely. I would have loved some champagne to have made it into the mix, but alas, we cannot have every single little thing our heart desires. I would also love to just have one of those little hourglasses from Harry Potter so I could cook the meal and then go back in time and photograph myself cooking the meal. Le sigh. Life goes on. 🙂

Valentine’s Menu

brie de meaux, fresh goat cheese with honey and hot peppers, strawberries, baguette

fresh pasta with tomatoes, tarragon, and cream

salmon poached in red wine

baby greens with strawberries and balsamic vinaigrette

Wine

337 Cabernet Sauvignon 2007

Dessert

peanut butter chocolate tart

I can’t believe I got to eat this! This was, I think, my favorite meal you’ve ever made (although last night’s pasta/potato casserole was a close second!).

    • meals are always better when they are eaten in the presence of great company! i’m referring to scarlett, of course. ❤
